Fan Missions on CD/DVD - 5:30:16 PM - MsLedd |
The TTLG Thief community of charitable taffers have started a FREE Fan Mission Mailout Service, to help get large fan missions (like T2X - 660MB) to those Thief enthusiasts with slow (or no) Internet connections. No "donations" required. Single disc requests can usually be filled completely free of charge (depending on location and availability of mailing volunteer). Many multi-disc requests can also be filled for free, however, the only compensation that will ever be involved is for cost of postage.
Thanks to Brother Renault and Redface for organizing this project and setting up the website.
Who says taffers only take and never give? :)

T2x Reviewed - 3:24:15 PM - GBM |
I've played T2x: Shadows of the Metal Age from beginning to end four times now. And I've replayed two or three missions an additional three or four times, to boot. I don't know if you're familiar with my insane demands and general tendencies towards snide remarks and nitpicking, but just looking at the number of hours I've given this game in the past four or five days should -- in itself -- give you an idea as to whether or not I enjoyed it. Hint: I enjoyed the hell out of it. I'll tell you what T2x is, for starters: It's fun. More than that, it's the kind of fun I had playing Thief: The Dark Project... (Read the full review, including new screenshots, here...) |

Thief 3 tools by Shadowspawn - 3:54:28 PM - Dave |
So you're making your very own Thief 3 mission with T3ED and you'd like to alter the static meshes that shipped with the game? Well, now you can thanks to Shadowspan. He's created a set of tools to convert the TIM files into 3DS format. Well. I have no idea how to use them, so I'll leave you with a couple of download links (You'll need both) - one to Free the Objects and one to TIMtoE - and a link to Shadowspan's thread on our forums. Thanks, Shadowspawn! |
