FM News Update
- 2:37:00 AM - The Phantom
Here is the newest set of updates:

Three new members makes an appearance in the list.
  • First there is Edversion. His mission (Castle of Lord Strainglif) is already 70% complete so a release should be likely in the coming months. Check out the screens he posted.
The other members are Dr Sneak and Sliptip.
  • Dr Sneak is working on a still untitled mission that is over 70% done.
  • Sliptip's mission is also still untitled and will probably be ready within the next few months. It's not the second part of Ashen Age.
  • Dyald has released his mission The Skygem Connection, sequel to Damsel in distress, so he has been removed from the list. Go play his mission now.
  • Zmey's mission, Secret Breaking of a Pyramid, based on one of the real Egyptian tombs, is also released.
2 other author's that are removed from the list are OptimusPrime and Ravenhook.
  • OptimusPrime's Mech Support was lost in a hd crash, just like Ravenhook's mission. Luckily the last one will be rebuilt.
Both Ottoj55 and tdbonko have announced a new mission they're working on.
  • Ottoj55's is not much of a new mission, but rather a retextured and restyled version of his older mission 'A Debt Repaid'. The idea is to bring this mission in line with the style in his other upcoming mission 'Evil Never Dies'.
  • Because of real-life changes, tdbonko has started on what will probably be his last fanmission. You can expect it somewhere in february. All the other missions he worked are handed over to Naks.
  • Sterlino's upcoming air adventure, The Abominable Flying Machine of Doctor Zeppelinger, has been changed drastically since the last time. Different design, it is now a campaign instead of a single mission, and it has been renamed into: Thief 2 - The Flying Age.
  • Lost at the Sea, sterlino's unfinished Water contest entry, has been put up for Adoption because he doesn't have the time to finish it himself. Look under 'Author's looking for help' in the thread for more information.
  • The release of mxleader's untitled mission has once again been slipped. Instead of last christmas, it looks like it will not be ready until christmas 2007, and even this is uncertain. It is the question if this mission will ever make it to release.
  • It looks like the last parts of belboz's Trickster's Gem Mines Series won't be finished with DromEd. The program no longer runs on his computer, so he decided to switch to the Dark Mod.
  • Yandros gave us a welcome christmas present last month. A Tombraider style mission that was originally started by gumdrop, called: The Mask of Agamemnon. Grab it from Thiefmissions.com.
  • Finally there are 4 threads added to the list of 'Other threads about upcoming missions'. Nothing new, but nevertheless interesting to read which missions the authors posted about are still in production, and which ones are already released.

    Dark Mod Update
    - 11:37:14 PM - Biohazard
There has been another update for the highly anticipated Dark Mod:

The updates continue to come fast and furious. Ascottk has gotten three more of our character models into the game with basic animations--the noblewoman, nobleman, and builder forger.

Our coders are making great strides with the AI. Rather than try to summarize all of the recent changes, I'm just going to link to some posts by the coders themselves.

From the art department, Napalm and Springheel have added our custom main menu to the game--it feels a lot more atmospheric when you don't see Mars every time you load the mod. Also, Pinkdot has just uploaded a whole series of awesome looking graveyard models.
