During your last redevous with the Mechanists you overheard a conversation aobut a summit meeting between the Mechanists, the Thieves Guild, and Lord Bafford. Lord Bafford was kind enough to host the meeting at his recently acquired castle. You've never been a favorite of your thieving commrades. If this summit meeting occurs the Thieves' Guild will completely alienate you. Tonight you must gain access to the castle and break the trust that Bafford has gained with the thieves. By: Ramirez Plot Description: I've been contacted by an old Hammerite priest this evening. In his letter, he mentioned that a special item was still hidden in the catacombs lying under the Church of St-Lazanar. Father Hendrick (that is his name) is after a book called 'The Builder's Last Notes'. Seems like this is the last things the Builder would have written down before leaving this world for another that He presumed was better. Anyway, what really caught my attention was that, apart from the book, there is also a precious gem named 'The Stone of Lazanar'. It's been a long time since I've heard of it, but reading that name reminded me how much it's worth. Additional Comments: English and French supported.

Sniff is well known by people of my profession for bringing the latest news. Also he had message for me from a colleague: Troy, he told me for paying his services with a pint (and even some more...), is on the track of something interesting and wants me to come to him to Boulders Quartier. As I have to stay out of sight around here Troy's invitation suited me fine. Besides my last operations weren't that successfull and my landlord will show up again soon. Therefore I went to the gate of Boulders Quartier at first dawn. I waited for the gate being unwatched and hid myself in a dark corner and waited for the guard taking turns. By: Sterlino Plot Description: It’s a quiet, mid-September afternoon and you, Garrett, Master of thieves, find yourself slowly remembering the adventures of the past in front of the fireplace. In your hand is a goblet of a fabulous wine taken from Lord Bafford’s cellar. In the midst of this restful interlude, you hear a whistle from the window followed by a thud...... an arrow is quivering in the frame with a message attached. “ We know about your recent success at Bafford’s manor. We have captured your friend Basso to hold for ransom. To free him, you must steal for us an artifact of an ancient and unknown nature. This precious thing is owned by a powerful Lord, who lives alone in a little fortress situated in a distant land named Italy. From the Map at the end of the text you will see what our problem is. The artifact’s name is “the Dragon’s Claw”, the exact location in Italy is the mountain of “the Horns of Canzo”,and the Lord mentioned is named Lord Kanfass. We are giving you 2 months to complete this mission. Remember that the fate of your good friend, Basso is in our hands. The sooner you bring us the Claw, the better it will be for Basso. Signed: the Brotherhood of Fire. It’s a long time to wait to payback the Brotherhood of Fire but you don’t want to go into their nest without the artifact, so you begin the journey to Italy. Then, after two weeks of difficult travel, you finally arrive and start planning the job. Canzo is a little village down on the lower part of the mountain with the curious name “Horns”. After a good nights sleep at “the Wild Boar” you look around you and see a strange thing! The people here seem to be more like you than those in your homeland. You then start to follow the main path to the nearest point beside the Horns... they are two particularly enormous rocks on the top edge of the mountain, which resemble a pair of animal horns. You, as always, check the map and see that the route shown will lead you to an infamous Inn, where you can find some information about Lord Kanfass. In the process, you can also find a way to fill up your, by now empty, pockets.

It is a lovely evening, and you are resting in the Lazy Burrick Lodge, wondering where you dropped your lucky blackjack, and waiting for your cousin to show up... Additional Comments: This mission does require Gaylesaver's scripts. If the fellow in the opening screen does not hand you a paper... then you don't have the scripts. Known Bug : The pathfinding is sometimes quirky around the pond and on the stairs in the jail area. Pathfind done and all that, but they still get lost. Then again, there are a lot of wine bottles laying around ;)

What weapons you pick up in part 1 will go with you to part 2, the loot total will zero. Known bugs: Bit laggy in some areas, end stats not reporting properly on number of pockets to be picked.

When I was about to leave the pub where I met one of his men, several guards were waiting for me on the street; it was a well planned ambush, and I did not have much chance to escape." more Additional Comments: * Known problems * - The map does not always select the right page for the player's current location (but it is not supposed to be an automap, anyway); this can happen in the basement where the map of the southern area is displayed, even when the player is in the northern area, in fact. - When crouching and creeping at the walls of the lobby, it is possible to get stuck sometimes; try to avoid contact with the walls. - Patrolling guards may get confused around some patrol points - care is needed when following them.
