Sword:

The sword is meant primarily as a defensive weapon. All Keepers carry swords while on journeys, but few Keepers have ever had need to use their blades. When a Keeper is discovered, and all other methods of innocuity and escape are eliminated, Keepers are trained to wield a sword with impunity. The glint of a blade may reveal a hidden Keeper, so it is wise to keep one's sword well hidden in cloak and darkness.
