Down In The Bonehoard
By - Night Errant

(With heartfelt apologies to Billy Joe Royal)

Down in the Bonehoard
Duh dum duh dum dum
Down in the Bonehoard
Duh dum duh dum dum

I'm deep underground cuz the Horn of Quintus it beckons me
I have dreams of aristocracy, but there’s no room their society
Builder have mercy on the boy that’s down in the Bonehoard

Ev'ry night I drop by a smelly old crypt
With inches of dust, and water all adrip
What else can I do? The dead have tons of gold
But they still creep around, it makes my blood run cold

Down in the Bonehoard
Duh dum duh dum dum
Down in the Bonehoard
Duh dum duh dum dum

Just a working stiff trying to climb out of the gutter he was born in
I have dreams of aristocracy, but there’s no room their society
Builder have mercy on the boy that's down in the Bonehoard

(chorus)

One fine day I'll find the way to move from my old flat
I'll hold my head up like a lord and I never never will look back
Until that morning I'll duck and run and pillage every tomb
With scads of zombies all around me trying to seal my doom

(chorus)

Just a working stiff trying to climb out of the gutter he was born in
I have dreams of aristocracy, but there’s no room their society
Builder have mercy on the boy that's down in the Bonehoard
Builder have mercy on the boy that's down in the Bonehoard
Builder have mercy on the boy that's down in the Bonehoard
