"I can't believe it. Andrew was great. We corresponded for awhile and I don't think I've ever encountered a kinder mind with such wit and intelligence. His letters had such a genteel, even old-fashioned chivalrous quality that charmed me, though I was secretly pleased when I managed to get him to let down his hair a bit. This makes me very sad. It may seem a trivial thing to say but I had always hoped to convince him to review my Thief FM someday, or even beta test it, I would have felt honored, and confident he would have been straight with me. I didn't know or speak to Andrew, but his writing expressed his deep thinking. I felt he was both brave and harsh in some reviews, but very weel rounded in all. I believe he reviewed more FM's than any other taffer.
